The second highlight of this tour is the Medieval village of Dozza, worldwide famous because of its open-air frescoed walls. The village is located south east from Bologna, in an area characterized by gentle hills, covered by hectares of vineyards in uncontamined countryside. Colorful open-air frescoes along the walls of low-roof medieval houses, gentle slopes and cobbled, narrow streets will lead you to the small, yet majestic, Castle of Dozza, right on top of the hill. Here you will enjoy a breathtaking panorama, overlooking the village, its rooftops and slopes, and the surrounding countryside.
