9:00 Departure from Parma towards the producers
9:45 Meeting with a Parmigiano-Reggiano producer. This local host is a historical producer whose activity started back in 1846. This is one of the few producers where you can still see the production from start to end: from the cows grazing the grass, to the milking, to the final King of Cheeses. You will be fully immersed in the production and discover all the secrets of the "behind the scenes", having the chance to see the worldwide famous cheese walls.
10:45 Transfer to an authentic "Acetaia" (Balsamic Vinegar estate) in the province of Reggio-Emilia, where you will be shown ancient barrels of Traditional Balsamic Vinergar and learn to discern the real Balck Gold from the dressings you normally find at the grocery store. At the end of this visit, you will taste 3 different ageings.
12:15 Back in the Parma area to see a real Prosciutto di Parma producer: you will see the salting, visit the ageing cellars and finally, enjoy a lunch with other local cured meats, homemade cakes, local wine, water and coffee.
14:00 Transfer back to Parma.
